more?

Well had a little hicup in my cutouts.  When I went to prep the last 3 on friday it turns out the primer I bought was bad. opened the bottle to find everything solid D: But it was already late and I had to work saturday so I couldnt get the stuff replaced till Sunday. So needless to say I havent gotten to starting them yet. Just put the second coat on this afternoon.

However I was able to use the time to make these Sailor moon pics. I found a set of canvis at the store a pack labled for $20 but the first canvis was cut so they had it marked town to $5.  I desided it was a good deal even with the one cut so I went and made something outa what was left.  I dont know what ima sell them for just yet but I do like how the came out!

Well I went ahead and finished the Yuki, I was gonna use the airbrush for the flesh tones but I got impatient and decided to mix the paint instead.  I think it turned out okay what do you think? Anyways that's all for now gotta finish the others but first Fringe!

been busy

Hey I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been busy.... I swear I gots this new project I'm working on.  Can you guess what it might be? Well if you said 1/1 scale cutouts your right!  I got some of the cardboard from work and made my first one.  Its Yuki Nagano of course one of my all time favorite characters.  I also plan to do Link, Mari Illustrius Murakami, and Miku Hatsune.  Hopefully I can have them all done before Astl next weekend but who know yeah^^ anyways enjoy the pics.  I'll post the finished Yuki on Sunday I wanna use the airbrush for the face, legs, and eyes.

Six Flags and Banners

Started Six Flags again this weekend.  So far its been great being back up there and doing caricatures everyday.  I was even able to get right back into it without my quality failing too much.  I usually use markers and art sticks at conventions and gigs, so when I h=get back to Six Flags my hands are are crampy and retarded so my drawings usually come out wiered.  I still don't really know how  I want to draw with a pencil and my style is usually inconsistent but meh.  We officially opened Friday and for some reason I thought we where on a Late schedule so I didn't wake up till 11:30 but it turned out I was supposed to be In at 10:30... oops.  We'll it turned out to be a pretty slow day but I did have fun.  I do wish Anthony had come back this season but we still have a good crew going.  Today was a bit busier after lunch bit not so busy that I wasn't able to get a little coloring done on some of my posters for convention.

I've also printed these banners. They are 2.5x4ft. and look awesome.  I have two different prints ill be selling at Astl and Acen this Link and a DragonBall pic with Launch, Bulma, and ChiChi.  I hope you all like them and come visit my booth. Astl is in 2 weeks and Acen is in 3.

Was going over some last minute ASTL stuffs the other day when I noticed Yuka-pon was on the even schedule.  I have to say I was very pleased, You all know how sad I was to have missed her Kawa Performance.  Ima make extra sure I don't miss It again this time.  I also noted from her pics and videos she may be selling some official yuka-pon merchendice.  I now know where allot of my kon made dollars are going to be spent^^

On anther note found this awesome pic of Yuka wearing one of my emotes while googling for images. She looks cute as always while showing off some of my stuffs, too cool(^o^)v

Spring A2F 2012

First I'd like to say thanks to all those who stoped by my booth to say Hi! I had alot of fun at this years spring convention.  I usually only go to the Fall A2F but I didnt make it into this years Kawakon so I had the free weekend to come back down to Arkasas for their anime fest.  I had a great time meeting new friends as well as some old friends I'd been seeing at the cons since I started going. As you can see once again I didnt take many pics. Usually I take pics till I start getting alot of commisions then im just too buisy.  But there was another Kiki one of my fav. characters, there was a Ariety as well from the new Gibli move but she never came up to my booth so I couldnt get a picture.

My only reget for this weekend was not going to Kawakon and seeing the Yuka-pon concert.  I had seen her on the scedule after I had sighned up for A2F and was devistated. Last time she sang at Anime Stl or Natsukon i forget wich. I had a table going and was unable to see her concert, and I bet it was even better this time too.  I will just have to settle for youtube videos again :( 

Anywho I had tons of fun making bags and doing skethes for people and cant wait till my next convention Anime Stl ant the ol Gateway Center in collunsville Ill. Dont forget to stop by and see me^^

hard days work

Well I spent the entire day at my desk today.  Worked for hours on these 3 posters as well as finished up a few buttons.  I did have alot of fun working on them though.  Specialy the Working!! pic, its something i've really wanted to work and I think it turned out pretty well.  The Gunsmith Cats is also looking pretty good cant wait to color these tomarow.

Went to my Aunts house for dinner too. Her fiance cooked some disiguouse grilled chicken and homeade potato salad YUM!

anyways im supper tyered and I want to get up early in the morning, Still have at least 6 posters to color ><
