Bakuman!!

I wanted to post about this last week but couldnt find the time.  But my favorite manga Bakuman has finally come to an end.  If you havent yet read it, its done by the team who also did Deathnote and artist from Hikaru no Go.

This story folows the middle school duo Mashiro and Takagi as they try to become Manga artist.  It starts with Takagi asking Mashiro if he would draw the caactes for the storys he writes.  At first Mashiro refuses saying he just wants a normal japanese life, but when he finds out is long time love Azuki wants to become a Voice actress he imediately confesses his love to her and claims that when his manga becomes an anime she will voice the lead and they would get married!

The story then goes into this flow of them getting serialized then something happens and they loos it. Then there are some other secondary characters mostly other artist that do there own thing as well.  Anywayu if you havent given it a read It comes highly recomended by me.  They also started the anime a while back, it has gone through 2 seasons and will start the third season next fall.

At any rate this and Detective conan have been the only two manga I've been looking forward to on a regular basis. so I may have to find something else to read. enjoy pyons.

ASTL 2012

 Had a blast at ASTL this weekend. Sellin' stuff talkin' ta friends maken' new artist buddies, just the whole experience was a blast.  It has become clear that ASTL is getting pretty big. They pretty much doubled the amount of venders and artist from last year. Its just too bad the have to close the convention center down by 1am.  It would be great if this could be a 24hr. con. Anyway I had a great time!

Here is a pic of my booth this time. As you can see I gots my new cutouts and banners all out for everyone to see.  even sold my Yuki and a DBZ banner!

But the best part was on Sunday when I got to talk to Yuka-pon. Unfortunately I couldnt get away from my booth and see her concert. But afterwards I was able to visit her booth. I bought the pic I saw on her etsy I really wanted that she autographed for me and a button I also saw on hew etsy.  She even posed for a picture with me. Good times pyon

Well as you know I was busy the week before ASTL trying to get these Cutouts done.  I really wanted to post this on friday before I left but I literaly finished these right before I left. But I think they turned out really well.  I especialy like the Mari and Yuki, But the Madoka, Miku, and Link look just as good.
