More?

I was thinking back the other day as to why I had made this blog in the first place and remembered it was to post caricatures. Well here we are 2 yrs. later and now i have a whole mess of caricatures^^. So yeah anyway Worked sunday wich wasent so bad but monday gahhhhhhhhhhh i could've died! i was so bored.... anyway the last pic is the only pic I took on monday the rest are from Sunday.

On another note paid for Natsucon today YAY! thats not till the sumer still so all is good. Lets not forget Dennis Baker SuperHero wich is all ready and sent to the printers. I'll post the cover next time. Dan and I are only printing 50 copies wich will all be at Star clipper, so if you want one you gotta get to the Delmar loop on May 7 before their sold out!

another Awsome! day

Had work again today. would of been great if not for the weather:( but all in all it was fun to work on friday. Vic asked me to draw some airsoft pics of sonic to sell so I made them and gave them to him today. I also did a sweet Idol promo for the Dennis Baker Superhero comic Im giving out on free comicbook day. I took more pics today^^ caricature pics +1..... i've leveled up^^

Caricatures!

Hey gang had a pretty good day at work yesterday, guess what I even drew some ppl^^. Lol anyways i only remembered to take one pic and then I forgot to take one of the ppl too. Oh well mabe next time.

I also worked on the cover for the Dennis Baker Superhero promo comic I'm doing for free comic book day. I was gunna color it today but it might have to wait till Sat. i got some other stuff I want to finish first.

Oh did I mention I started playing pokemon again. Chris was playing blue at the mall last friday and I just had to play it too, i had forgoten how awsome it was. with the game being so old you can get it and the system for like 30 bucks so i did and been killing time at the metro station every day sence^^. I bought pokemon yellow wich I didnt have bak then so i wanted to try it out, just passed brocks gym so im doing good so far.

More Comics!

Well another exciting day at work today^^ Spent most of it working on these character sketches for one of my new comics. I've actually been working on it for a while now. It falls under the manga category of senin (i think thats how its spelled) witch pretty much means Mature comics for men, and Slice of life. I've been really interested in this drama for a while and gotten to read alot of interesting titles. My fav. being the genre where a young mid twenties male who cant seem to get his life in order somehow becomes the legal guardian of a young girl usually aged 6-9. Theese storys are usually really good and reading the stuff they go through is always funny. My fav. being "Otaku-no Musume" in this one the main char. is a mangakas assistant and anime Otaku who finds out his girlfriend from Highschool had a kid and dident tell him about it, and now the mother is having some troubles and sent his daughter to live with him till things settle down. The main point in this series is that He is an anime otaku wich in japan is a big social no no, so his new daughter has alot of problems with him. Other good ones include "Usagi Drop", "My girl", and I did watch a j-drama called "Oh! My Girl" witch was really good.

Anyways Mine is about a Guy whos job I hadent yet desidid on uses a online adoption agency to adopt a child. He chooses a 6 yr old boy but when the ppl come to deliver its a 9yr. old girl. Kindof like a Big DaddyxAnne of green Gabels type situation, where the adoption agency says it will take a month to get things reorganized, and by the end of the month he has fallen for her and adopts her instead. Its taking me a while to come up with all the different situations they encounter. I know I want to use the fact that he was planning for a boy, that could be funny with school stuff. I also have a few things I want done but its just the getting it in writing that is my problem^^

Kawacon 2011 day 3

Well another con came and gone! I had alot of fun working it this weekend^^ Here is a pic of my stand, I tryed really hard not to buy anything since I got so much cool stuff from the swap meet. But I really needed a new walet so I got one of those. Anyway as always sunday was alittle slow and the closing ceremonies where lame but I made it home and slept the rest of the day off. enjoy pyon.

Kawacon 2011 day 2

Another awsome con day, Alot of cool stuff hapened. First of all Ol' B-man came by to hang out wich was great, I don't get to see him much. I also did some great artwork and sold alot of stuff at te booth. Lets not for get the swap meet! can we say Free Loot? this is all the cool Stuff I got just by trading old crap I had laying around the house. Garra gourd/bag, 2 figures. detective Conan dvd, 2 seasons of School Rumble, Random issue of Ichigo 100%, Evangelion 1.11 and more! It was all in all a great day even just the hangen out afterwards. Chris, Holly and I stoped off at the resturant in the hotel for some grub. Service was slow and all but we just wanted to relax anyhows. Next was the RAVE/techno dance witch as always was supper till sombody triped the fire alarm and we all had to pile out onto the street till the Firetrucks came. Witch pretty much killed it for me. But aferward I headed over to the Kareoke spot to sing my classic "A Man of Constant Sorrow". And last spent the rest of the nite in the common area chatting with some all nites about random crap. so yeah GREAT day TWO! later pyon

kawacon 2011 day 1

Another exciting con started today^^. I spent most of it at the artist table where i met some cool ppl and a couple i hadent seen in while stoped by. I bet your wondering what this fluffy thing is? Well its a sushi pillow, i won at the charity auction they had. all in all i had a great time, time for part two pyon!

School!

Well I tried but I couldn't do it I cant just watch one J-drama. Once I start I just cant seem to stop. Anyway I started this one last nite, its called School! Its really good! I centers around the principal of an elementary school. The catch however is the principal is new and was implimented do to some new clause that hires non teachers in those positions. Its pretty funny as you watch him interacting with the other teacher who dont believe he is suited for the job. I really like school based dramas and its been a while since I seen a primary school drama. It however doesnt have any stars that im familiar with. I just picked it after reading a fiew of the synopsis for this seasons dramas in the list on Dramawiki. Im glad to say I picked a good one ^^ Well thats all for now, Dont forget Kawacon is closing in fast make sure to visit me! pyon.

Another exciting day at work today..... NOT! Well i did draw some pretty cool pics of X-23. Just shows how much i've been playing her on MVC3 lately, as i drew her from memory like i do with sonic and kazuha^^. I think they turned out ok.... enjoy pyon!

scifi art fun!

Went for another round of sketching at the scifi lounge today. It was a bit rainny when I left the house but When I got there I was still dry (thanks umbrella). Anyway the drawing was fun, There where 2 models there and Coyote even posed while we waited for the second model to arive. But when she got there they did a few dual poses. Winter Dramas

Well I started watching J-Dramas again today^^ probably wont be watching as many at once as I used too but I'll try for at least one Japanese and one Korean Drama per season. We'll see, anyhow the Japanese drama im watching is LADY Saigo no Hanzai Profile. Was very good I did however just finish the first epiode. It stars Keiko Kitagawa who also just hapens to be on my list lol. I try to see all her Dramas like Shida Mirai and Shiraishi Miho although Miho usually only plays second or third tear characters, don't think I've seen her as a main Character, well mabe she was kind of a main Character in Orange Days.... but anyway. Lady is about these people in a group called CPS that work with the police to "profile" criminals, needless to say their is a whole lot of talking and looking at evidence but I was happy with the shows pacing. The first episode was however a 2hr. special so that was good in its self. I do recomend this to ppl that either speak good Japanese or dont mind reading subs that also are a fan of cop dramas like Law and Order or Castle, It has Keiko so you can expect it to be humorus but being a cop show it does have a serious tone to it. Cant wait to see where the go with it. well enjoy pyon!
